Another big month for Zeroaprcreditcard.com and another interesting month for our top 10 list of credit cards applied for through our site. More consumers than ever applied for credit cards through our site this month. Clearly word of mouth has been kicking in - please tell your friends to apply for credit cards through our site.
Blue from American Express regained its position at the top of our list, narrowly edging out its competitors. The Blue credit card has received rave reviews from consumers and is known as ideal credit card for those with good credit who are looking for a card with access to a reward program. The Discover More Card decorated with an American Flag slipped down to the #2 spot following Blue from American Express. Both were followed closely by the rapidly climbing Clear from American Express credit card, a card whose primary selling points are simply the fact that there are absolutely no fees whatsoever, ever.
The Miles by Discover Card drove its way into fourth place, banking on its excellent travel rewards.
Meanwhile, the Capital One No Hassle Miles(SM) Rewards card jumped up from 18th position to 5th. This card is generally regarded as the best airline rewards card to date. The Chase Platinum Visa Card jumped into 6th place from nowhere, banking on its reputation as a solid, but not flashy Platinum credit card.
In 7th and 8th positions we have the two highest rated business credit cards in existence, the Discover Business Card and The Business Gold Reward Card - American Express. Rumor has it that if you can qualify for The Business Gold Reward Card - American Express the rewards are unbelievable.
Students continue to build up some healthy debt as the Discover Student Card remained on the charts at #9. Based on consumer feedback, this student card offer appears to be the best of the lot - in terms of allowing students to build credit and in terms of greater benefits than drawbacks.
Thanks to an ambitious marketing campaign, the Discover Motiva Rewards Card edged into the 10th position last month. This card has rapidly become one of the highest rated credit cards offered.
Discover credit cards in general had another strong month, comprising half of our top 10 list. However, Chase and Capital One each had an entrant this month. And since we recently added over 40 new cards from Capital One, Chase, and Citi, we might soon see a shakeup on the stranglehold AMEX and Discover have historically had on our Top 10 credit card chart.
We recommend you take a look at these cards first.
